How Do You Downgrade Internet Explorer 8 Beta Internet Explorer 7?
The way I did it was to go to add/remove programs, clicked “show updates” and then looked for the explorer update and told it to remove it. I’ve done that twice, but do be cautious and make a set point and/or backup your data first, because the first time I tried it a few years ago to roll IE 6 back to IE 5, it didn’t uninstall it properly properly and it totally destabilized the entire Windows OS, although it said the roll back was successful. I had to reinstall windows from scratch and even then, the computer was always slower than it had been. That was Windows ME, but caution is still advised because Explorer is so integrated with the Windows OS.
