How Do You Donate To The National Flag Day Foundation?
The National Flag Day Foundation makes every effort to carry on the tradition of the first Flag Day observance. This organization pays special recognition to Bernard J. Cigrand, a school teacher who ensured that the American flag was recognized and observed all over the United States. If you would like to get involved with the National Flag Day Foundation, there are several ways you can make a donation. Donate to the Commemorative Brick Program by purchasing a brick in memory of a loved one. Two sections of bricks appear in the Americanism Center Commemorative Courtyard. One section is in memory of the veterans who fought in all wars, and the second section of bricks is for remembering community patrons and loved ones. Purchase items from the foundation’s fundraising program, such as t-shirts, mugs and Flag Day popcorn. Participate in the foundation’s annual silent auction, dinner and dance.
