How Do You Do The Quadruple Traveling Time Step In Tap Dancing?
This time step is considered a quadruple because four taps/sounds (shuf-fle, step, heel) occur following the hop. Determining whether a time step is a single, double, triple or quadruple is based on the number of taps that follow the hop. The dancer travels in this step when she moves to the left, or to the right, depending on which foot the step was begun, on the ball-changes. Shuffle step on the right foot. When executing the shuffle, your feet are in line with your hips and your toes are pointed directly forward.
