Measure out and cut a 15 inch square of the paper. Paper crafts require special paper so get the right type of paper for this origami project. The paper should be able fold easily, hold a crease and not tear when creased repeatedly. 20 to 24 lb. paper will work well. Construction paper is not a good choice as it tears too easily. This origami project calls for a sheet large enough to get the 15 inch square necessary for each adult size cap. Freezer paper, the type that comes on a roll, for wrapping foods, is good for practicing with until the method is learned.
