How Do You Do The Michael Jackson Moonwalk?
On March 25th, 1983 Michael Jackson first introduced the world to the Moonwalk dance during a performance to his hit “Billie Jean”. Today the Michael Jackson Moonwalk is the most well known dance in history. Get your dancing loafers on! You want to start out with your feet together. Stand straight and tall. Lift your right heel. You want to end up standing on the ball of your right foot. Make your left foot feel weightless, by now moving all of your weight to your still lifted right foot. Now comes the part where you look like you’re floating! While moving your left foot backwards, you want to slowly lower your right heel. Do this until your left toes are lined up with the heel of your right foot. Lift your left heel and move your body weight. You now want to be standing on the ball of your left foot. Repeat steps 3 and 4 over and over to complete the moonwalk dance! Practice until you get good!
