The next time you want to add new decorating touches to your home, invest some time in a stained glass project. When light shines through the different colored pieces of glass, colorful shadows will make your room come alive. Choose different colored and shaped pieces of glass and lay them out on the work board in a chosen design. Remove the backing from the copper tape–without disconnecting it from the tape roll–and press its sticky side against the edge of a glass piece. Cut the tape to detach it from the roll after all sides of the glass are covered in foil, leaving approximately a little less than 1 inch extra to overlap with the foil where you started. Pinch the foil that hangs over the edge on each side of the glass to make it stick to each side. Choose two glass pieces to connect together.
