The hamstrings are a group of tendons on the back of the knee. They connect to the muscles that flex the knee. Injury to a hamstring is common among athletes and other active and non-active people. It is very important to perform proper hamstring exercises to strengthen this area to prevent injury. Lay on the floor. Put both of your feet on top of the stability ball and push your hips into the air, forming a bridge with your back. Hold this position. Maintain the bridged position and curl your heels towards you butt. Push the front of your feet into the ball. Straighten your legs back to the starting position and repeat the entire move over again. Do a hip extension. Lie on top of the stability ball face down. Place your hands on the floor and move the ball so that it is underneath your hip/stomach area. Extend your legs outward, and rest your toes on the floor. Lift your legs off of the floor, while keeping your back straight and your legs together. Keep your hands on the floor as wel
