How Do You Do Full Supination Concentration Curls?
Performing the biceps exercise known as full supination concentration curls is considered by many to be one of the best movements in weight training for completely developing this area of the upper arms. Supination denotes that a rotating or a twisting motion is employed instead of the static up and down movement of the standard biceps curls. Adding this rotation stimulates more muscle fibers, thus encouraging more growth of the muscles worked. Sit on a chair or bench with your knees at least 14 inches apart. Grasp a dumbbell in the hand of the arm that will be performing the exercise. Rest the other hand on the knee of the same side. Make sure that the dumbbell is held so that the arm is fully extended toward the floor and the palm of the hand faces inward and toward your feet. Slowly raise the hand holding the dumbbell, while gradually rotating your wrist and forearm inward so that as the dumbbell is lifted, the palm of your hand is facing your chest. Complete the movement by flexing
