Microsoft Word 2007 is a word processor and really wasn’t meant for this purpose. There are a few free genealogy programs that you can download for her that are free. You coul download the LDS software called PAF but there is no support for that software to the best of my knowledge. It can be found at http://www.familysearch.org/eng/default.… Another free option is Legacy Family Tree, you can download it for free and they have a group on Rootsweb where anyone could get an answer to a question in 24 hrs or sooner. You can find this software at http://www.legacyfamilytree.com/Download… If she is 10, she will get disheartened trying to do genealogy with the wrong tools.
