How Do You Do Dryer Duct Cleaning Like A Professional?
Dryer duct cleaning is a critical part of your dryer’s use. As normal part of operations, a dryer pulls off lint and debris from cloths. This lint mostly gets trapped in lint catch, but much of it goes out of the vent. Over time, the lint builds up in vent and can impair the dryer operations. In extreme cases, obstructed dryer vents can cause fires. Performing a dryer duct cleaning with common household tools requires just a little ingenuity. Disconnect the dryer duct from the dryer. Create a dust catch. Take an old tee shirt and tie at each sleeve to close them off. Wrap the body hole around the dryer duct that was just disconnected. Stick the intake of the vacuum into the neck hole. Duct tape both ends of the tee shirt as tightly as you can. Outside your house, remove the exit vent grill and place the leaf blower into the exit of the duct. Turn on the vacuum then turn on the leaf blower. Let booth tools run until no more debris comes out of the duct work. It should take at least 10 m
