• Divide the hair down the center of the head. You may want to use a rattail comb to help you get the part straight. • Secure one half of the hair using either a clip or a hair tie. • Separate the section you left unbound into three sections close to the top. • You don’t want to grab all the hair; rather, you want to work with a small section from the top.
