A twist braid is a technique that twists and braids two sections of hair. As you twist the sections of hair, you also cross them over each other, adding additional hair as you go, like a traditional French braid. The finished effect is striking and unusual. When you wear your hair this way, don’t be surprised if strangers ask just how you created your beautiful twist braid. Spray your hair lightly with the water to make it slightly damp. Comb your hair with the comb to remove any tangles. Separate a small section of hair at the top of your head and comb the section smooth. Divide the section into two equal parts. Hold one part in each hand and begin twisting the small hair sections tightly. Twist both sections either to the right or to the left.
