How Do You Do A Taekwondo Jump Side Kick?
One of the most powerful kicks in Tae Kwon Do is a sidekick. Combining a sidekick with a jump adds force and momentum for advanced techniques. Stand facing sideways with your feet together. Place your hands in a defensive position in the direction you are going to kick. Still facing sideways, step forward with your front foot then step with your back foot. Squat halfway down and jump up bringing the front knee into your torso, then extend into a straight leg position with a flexed foot. Quickly bring your knee back in and land on both feet.
