How Do You Do A Print Screen In Windows XP?
This article will describe how to do a print screen maneuver when running Windows XP. The Prt Scrn key is normally found on the upper right hand section of your keyboard as shown in the picture. When you click on the key it sends a picture of your screen to the clipboard. This is very handy if you want to send somebody a picture of your screen via e-mail. It used to be that when you did a print screen it sent the info to your printer. Not so with XP. Much more handy this way. Most e-mail software will accept a paste operation directly from the clipboard. What you do is place the cursor of the e-mail writer at the exact location you want to paste your picture then right click at that location and click the paste button. This is important to put it in the right location because it is usually very difficult to move it.
