When you click on the key it sends a picture of your screen to the clipboard. This is very handy if you want to send somebody a picture of your screen via e-mail. It used to be that when you did a print screen it sent the info to your printer. Not so with XP. Much more handy this way. Most e-mail software will accept a paste operation directly from the clipboard. What you do is place the cursor of the e-mail writer at the exact location you want to paste your picture then right click at that location and click the paste button.
