Kickboxing combinations put together a series of kicks, punches, jabs and strikes that will give you a great workout while teaching self-defense skills. The jab-cross is the building block for most other combinations. Adding the stomp kick will add power and speed to your defense. With this combo, you’ll perfect your punching and kicking skills. Assume the fighter’s stance with your weight balanced on both feet, chin tucked down and arms at guard position. Step forward with the front foot and extend your lead arm. Form a fist with the lead hand, rotating the knuckles so the palm faces down. Turn your hip slightly and shift your weight to the front leg. As you throw the punch, leave a slight bend in the arm. Recoil the arm and return to the fighter’s stance. Shift the front side of the upper body forward. Extend the rear arm toward the target, pivot on the ball of your rear foot and drive the weight from the rear leg to the front leg. Turn your fist so your palm faces the floor. Rotate
