How Do You Do A Bosu Side Crunch Exercise?

The Bosu side crunch exercise targets the muscles of the waist, also known as the obliques. It helps to tone and shape the area often called the love handles. This exercise mimics a typical side crunch on the floor; however, using the Bosu will take your workout to the next level. Working on the Bosu will require you to use your core muscles even more to maintain your balance and to do the exercise properly. Add this exercise to your routine to help you really shape the midsection of your body. Place the Bosu on the floor with the flat side down. Lie over the Bosu on your right side. Your right hip waist and shoulder should be on the Bosu. Bend your right knee to help stabilize yourself. Your left leg is out straight. Place the fingertips of your left hand behind your head. You can either place your right hand on your right shoulder as in the picture, which makes the exercise harder, or you can rest your right elbow and hand on the floor in front of the Bosu to help with your balance.
