You walk up to the pool, your friends and family watching in awe as you pose in a diving stance. Gracefully, you leap into the air and land in the pool–flat on your belly. Don’t you wish you could dive into the swimming pool like a poised and polished Olympian? With some practice, you can amaze your friends, and maybe even yourself. Read on to learn how to dive into a pool. Place the toes of your dominant foot (right if you are right-handed, left if you are left-handed) at the edge of the pool. Set your opposite foot slightly behind the dominant foot, but not directly behind it. Point your chin down towards your chest. Stretch your arms up over your head, with your palms facing up and your dominant hand under the other. Wrap the bottom hand around the top one and hook your thumbs together.
