How Do You Distract A Fussy Infant?

0

When you have exhausted all other possibilities and you are simply exhausted, this simple technique may keep your infant calm long enough for you to make dinner or do the dishes. Blow up 4 balloons (preferably vibrant colors) and tie the ends in a knot. Be careful not to blow them up too big. Take the roll of streamers and cut 4 pieces in different lengths(no longer than 18 inches) Different colors could be fun but are not necessary. Take your clear tape and tape each piece of streamer to each balloon at the end. Take the end of the streamer and tape to opposite ends of a ceiling fan or floor fan. Place the child in the car seat and strap them in as if you were getting ready to travel somewhere in the car. Place the car seat directly underneath the ceiling fan or across from the floor fan. Make sure the streamers and balloons are secured and out of reach from your infant. Turn the fan on low and watch the child enjoy!
