How Do You Distinguish Plot Plan From Piping Layout?
The plot plan is the plan of the building on the site or plot of land. It will show property lines, elevations, etc. It is for use to properly site the building on the land. The piping plan is the plan that shows the piping along with the sizes, inflow and outflow lines, etc. If you look closely, you can determine that the piping plan will have a schedule that differs from the plot plan because of the different things the drawings are used for.
