You need to properly dispose of the incandescent light bulb so it won’t injury anyone. Step 1 Unscrew the burned out incandescent light bulb from the light fixture. Step 2 Wrap the bulb in a sheet of newspaper. Step 3 Place the wrapped bulb in a plastic bag. Step 4 Tie the top closed on the bag. Step 5 Place the plastic bag in your trash can or other trash container.
