How Do You Display A Bottle Collection?
Like some beer lovers out there I enjoy trying as many different beers as I can. I also try to save a bottle of every beer I have drank. Little did I know how fast the bottles would add up! So I created a display for the bottles in my basement. Here is what I did! First, Take a look at your bottle sizes and get a rough idea of how you want them to fit on the wall. I used my tallest bottle (Corona, Pacifico, Sol, etc) to gauge how tall every shelf needed to be. Luckily it worked out that I could just barely squeeze four shelves on the wall above the waist level foundation shelf that runs the perimeter of the room. Explore what will work for your set-up. Now you need to decide how wide you want the shelves to stick out from the wall. I chose three inches which was a little wider than my widest bottles (Negro Modello, Modello Especial, Bohemia, Red Stripe, etc.) Next, you need to decide how to affix the shelves to the wall.
