Pour the water into the uncontaminated container. Add two drops of chlorine bleach to 1 quart of water. Mix well and wait 30 minutes. Smell the water. The water should have a slight bleach odor. If you can’t detect a bleach odor, add two more drops of bleach and allow the mixture to sit for 15 minutes.
