Transylvania is one of the most romanticized cities in Eastern Europe. Made famous by Bran Stocker in Dracula, Transylvania has a lot more to offer than just its castles. A large city with a significant Roma (gypsy) population, Transylvania can be expensive for visitors who don’t learn in advance how to stay clear of tourist traps.
