How Do You Disconnect An Aftermarket Car Alarm For A 1997 Ford Explorer?
It’s frustrating and embarrassing when a car alarm goes off for no apparent reason. The resulting noise attracts a lot of attention, mostly unwanted. The good news is that it’s easy to dismantle an aftermarket car alarm on a 1997 Ford Explorer. You have two choices: neutralize the alarm or disconnect it altogether. Keep in mind that once you disconnect the alarm, you will no longer have the anti-theft protection. Check under the dash for the alarm button or toggle switch with the vehicle turned off.
