How Do You Disable Nortons System Works & Antivirus?

0

Norton Antivirus is a computer software by Symantec that provides real-time antivirus and antispyware protection, and network safety and backup services. Norton SystemWorks is a suite of utitility programs that maintain, clean and help you configure your PC. Although designed to optimize the work of your PC, you might need to disable the programs to perform a specific action they would otherwise block. You have to remove the applications from the startup menu in Windows so that they won’t start automatically every time you reboot. This way you disable the programs from running without having to uninstall. Go to the “Start” menu, click “Run,” type “msconfig” and hit “Enter” to bring up the system configuration utility. Click the “Startup” tab. Uncheck boxes next to Norton SystemWoks and Norton Antivirus. Click on “Apply” and then “OK” to save the new settings and restart the computer.
