How Do You Disable Error Reporting In Internet Explorer?
Microsoft’s error reporting function is a tool meant to assist the company in gathering specifics about the failure rates of Microsoft products. Many users, however, dislike having their computer report every crash or other error to Microsoft. Those who wish to retain their privacy can easily turn off the error reporting feature. Go to the Start menu and select “Control Panel.” If necessary, switch your Control Panel to Classic View when it opens. Double-click on the “System” icon to open the System dialog box. Click on the “Advanced” tab, and then the “Error Reporting” button. Select “Disable Error Reporting” in the pop-up dialog box. Click “OK.” Click “OK” again to close the System dialog box. Restart your computer after making this change, if prompted to do so. This will depend upon your system configuration.
