CyberLink is a software program that allows you to access your media–be it photographs, audio or vide–from any computer or iPhone. The software will load automatically on startup on your Toshiba unless you disable it. Disabling any startup program is easy, but the process will differ depending upon whether you are running Windows Vista or Windows XP. Go to the “Start” menu and click “Run.” In the small box that appears, type “msconfig.” Then press “OK.” Another window will appear with tabs along the top of it. Click on the tab labeled “Startup.” A list of programs will appear. Uncheck the box next to the CyberLink program. Then click “Apply” and “OK.” CyberLink will no longer run at startup. Click on the large button with the Windows icon in the lower left corner of the desktop. A new window will open.
