How Do You Disable A Trend Micro Anti-Virus Firewall?
When you install Trend Micro’s Internet Security application, your computer becomes protected by a personal firewall, which keeps it from being accessed without your approval. The Personal Firewall feature can be managed from within Trend Micro’s main software console, allowing you to activate it and deactivate it at your leisure. Deactivating the firewall may be necessary, for example, if you are seeking remote support or are attempting a connection outside of your network. Launch the Trend Micro application by double-clicking the Trend Micro icon in your Windows task bar. The icon should be located in the bottom-right-hand corner of your Windows task bar, next to the system clock. Locate and click the “Personal Firewall Controls” option found in the left panel and then click the “Settings” link. This will open up the configuration window for the firewall settings.
