How Do You Detect & Repair Computer Viruses?
If you have noticed lately your computer has been a bit slow, or maybe you are getting errors that you have never experienced before, you may have a virus. New viruses are being produced and circulated all the time. Keeping your computer and anti-virus software up-to-date you will reduced your risk of getting viruses immensely. Also, doing regular virus scans will keep your computer from being bogged down with viruses, spyware and other malicious applications. Install anti-virus software. Some Windows computers come pre-installed with software. You can use that, or you can download a free one from the internet. A popular anti-virus program that is free is AVG (See Resources). Update the anti-virus program. Anti-virus programs require regular updates. On some, you can schedule updates, but others you have to choose to do it.
