It’s safe to say every woman wants to look her best on her wedding day. While the brides we see in magazines are typically slim and slender, that is not always the case for the average woman. Nevertheless, whether the bride is slim or curvy, the dress should flatter her figure and highlight her attributes. There are a few tricks in accenting the right curves and camouflaging the rest in a plus-sized dress design. Accentuate the waist in your dress design. A corset is an ideal way to accent the smallest part of a woman’s body, her waist, and tighten up her body lines. Further accent this midpoint and enhance her hour glass shape with an accent. A beaded, sparkling or floral applique will do the trick. For a modern touch, wrap a colorful sash or belt around the waist of the dress. Design a skirt that floats away from the body. A-lines are the classic and most uniformly flattering skirt styles, since it flairs away from the waist in an “A” shape. A more unconventional skirt option would b
