You can use the interactive whiteboard to design several aspects or lessons for students. It is important to understand how to use the whiteboard’s versatility for your needs. Designing is one of the easiest parts of the interactive whiteboard. Click on the interactive whiteboard program to begin. Turn on the projector and make sure you can see the interactive whiteboard program on the screen. Click on the “design” function. On some whiteboards, this is the notebook, the word document or the paint function. If you are unsure of which function to use, check with your particular whiteboard’s instruction manual. Open up a new design document using the “open” or “new” feature. Use the interactive keypad, stylus and mouse to draw lines, make illustrations with the paint feature, type out captions or free-draw a design. Save the design once it is finished so you can access it with the interactive whiteboard. Save the design on a jumpdrive so you can open it and use it on any computer.
