How Do You Design A Pirate Ship Invitation?

0

Making your own pirate ship invitations is easy, fun, and imaginative. Start with heavy stock folded in half. Make it original by giving it a three-dimensional look with pieces of construction paper for the pirate ship and sails. If you’re making multiple copies, make one original to copy on a scanner and print out. If you have a dozen or fewer guests, making cards by hand will give you more options for creativity. Hold a sheet of vellum or heavy white paper horizontally. Fold it in half. This will serve as the background for your invitation. Design your pirate ship by looking at photographs or drawings of pirate ships on the Internet, in books, or in children’s toys. Sketch out your rough design on scrap paper. Cut pieces of construction paper in different colors and shapes for your pirate ship. Cut rectangular and/or triangular sails in light blue to show against the background. Make the bottom of the rectangles wider than the top. Tear the bottoms so they’ll look three-dimensional.
