How Do You Delete Windows Messenger 4.7?
Windows Messenger 4.7 is essentially a streamlined version of MSN Messenger and was also the precursor to the newer Windows Live Messenger. Because Windows Messenger is a component part of your Windows installation, it is not removed in the same manner as other types of instant messaging programs might be deleted. Fortunately, just because the process is different does not mean that it is difficult. Open the Start menu and select the “Control Panel” option. Locate the “Add or Remove Programs” icon in the Control Panel window. Double-click the icon to launch the “Add/Remove Programs” window. Click the “Add/Remove Windows Components” button in the left-hand side of the window. Scroll down the list of installed Windows components until you find the Windows Messenger 4.7 entry. Click the checkbox next to the Windows Messenger 4.7 entry to remove Windows Messenger 4.7 from your computer.
