How Do You Delete The History Cache?
The history cache is the place where your Internet browser stores the history of the Web pages that you visit, hence, “caches” it. The history cache makes it so that the browser doesn’t have to retrieve all Web page files every time you visit a previously visited Web page. Sometimes, though, if you history cache is too full, it can decrease your Internet speed and performance, in which case you should delete the history cache. Click “Tools.” Click “Delete Browsing History.” Uncheck the box next to “Preserve Favorites website data” and check the box next to “Temporary Internet Files,” “Cookies” and “History.” Click “Delete.” Click “Tools.” Click “Internet Options.” Click “Delete” under “Browsing History.” Click “Delete Files” to clear your history cache. Click “Tools.” Click “Clear Recent History.” Click “Everything” from beneath “Time Range.” Select the history types to clear in the “Details” drop-down menu. Select “Temporary Internet Files” to clear the history cache.
