The Microsoft Windows XP Pro operating system has a folder titled “System32” that houses all of the critical files necessary for the computer to run. By default the operating system will hide these files from view, but if there is some reason that you need to remove one you can change the folder settings so that the files are visible. Click on the Windows icon located at the far left side of the tool bar at the bottom of your computer’s desktop. Choose the “Shut Down” option and then click on “Restart.” Wait for the manufacturer’s logo to appear on your monitor while the computer is loading up. Press the F8 key repeatedly until a new black and white menu screen appears. Use the down arrow key on your keyboard to scroll down through the list of options.
