Metacrawler is one of many search engine websites available for anyone to use. This search engine searches multiple search engines, such as About.com, Ask.com, and LookSmart. Metacrawler also places search results in order of relevance. However, if you have a computer with multiple users, you may want to delete your search history from Metacrawler. This way, if anyone else goes to Metacrawler to perform a search, your last 15 searches will not pop up on the screen. Log on to the Internet from your computer. Go to www.metacrawler.com. Click “Preferences.” Click the radio button next to “Recent Searches off” in the “Recent Searches” category. This category is the third one down from the top of the page. Scroll to the bottom of the page. Click the gray “Save Settings” button.
