How Do You Delete Old Internet Wireless Connections?
If you own a laptop or a desktop with wireless connectivity, you accumulate wireless connections as you move the machine from location to location. If you have all these wireless connection automatically starting when you turn on the machine, it can slow the performance of the boot process. Each wireless connection you setup in Windows can be removed, which is a good part of the maintenance when cleaning up files and performance. Step 1 Click the Windows “Start” button and select “Control Panel.” In the window that opens, double click the “Network and Sharing Center” icon. Step 2 Click the link labeled “Manage Wireless Networks.” This opens a window that lists all the wireless connections you have configured on the machine. Step 3 Right click one of the network connections you want to remove. Select “Remove network” from the list of options. Click “Yes” at the confirmation screen. The wireless network is removed.
