MSN’s instant messaging application stores all exchanged messages to the user’s account. This can be a potentially positive and negative feature, as some conversations may be rather personal and should not be accessed for later viewing. As a result, users can opt to simply delete their MSN Messenger history account to eliminate any possibilities of their confidentiality being compromised. Deleting history in MSN Messenger requires simplified changes to your account settings. Access Windows Live Messenger by clicking its icon on the desktop. Type your MSN Messenger email address and password in the two blank data forms provided on the Windows Live Messenger log-in screen. Click the “Sign-In” button below the log in data forms. Go to the “View” tab at the top of the MSN Messenger home screen. Select the “Message History” tab in the collapsible View menu.
