How Do You Delete Items From Internet Address Bar?

0

A person who wants to delete individual URLs from the address bar has either entered a faulty address by virtue of a typing error or has something to hide, with the latter being the one that occurs most often. If you want to delete individual URLs, you can easily do it in Internet Explorer 8 and Mozilla Firefox. In the previous versions of Internet Explorer, you can do it, but you’ll have to edit the Registry. People who use Safari are out of luck, because that browser isn’t yet capable of this action. Open the browser. Click on the drop-down arrow on the address bar and the entries will appear. Scroll down to the link you want to delete in Internet Explorer 8 and a red “X” will appear on the right side of the entry. Click on the red “X” to delete the entry. Scroll down to the link you want to delete in Firefox and press “Ctrl” and “Delete” to delete the entry. Close the browser and open it back up to confirm that the entry has been deleted. Click on the “Start” icon and the Start Menu
