How Do You Delete Items From A Task Bar?
The task bar is the part of the screen that lets you know what programs are running on a computer at any specific time–whether the programs have open windows or they’re running in the background. If there are too many items appearing on the task bar, you can get rid of the ones you don’t want by making a few changes in the task bar “Properties” folder. The changes should take a few seconds and they’ll last until you decide to change them again. Right-click on an empty space on the task bar and a drop-down menu will appear. Click on “Properties.” Click on the tab that says “Notification Area,” which is the area where the clock and the icons for programs that are currently running (the “items” you want to delete) are located. Click on “Customize” in the “Icons” section. Highlight the icons appearing on the task bar that you want to delete and select “Hide” for each one. Click on “OK” to get rid of the icons.
