How Do You Delete Internet Explorer In Vista?

0

Internet Explorer (IE) is a Web browser made by Microsoft. It comes bundled with the different versions of the company’s Windows operating systems, including the one known as Windows Vista. If you prefer a different browser and do not plan to use IE at all, you can delete Internet Explorer in Vista. This process should take no longer than 10 minutes to accomplish. Shut down all programs running on Vista, including Internet Explorer. Click the “Start” button at the bottom right of your desktop. Go up to “Control Panel.” Click the “Uninstall a Program” button under the “Programs” category. Hit “View installed updates” in the Tasks window. Find “Windows Internet Explorer” and double-click it. If the computer screen show an “Uninstall an Update” box, click “Yes.” Enter your password if the computer asks for one. After Vista finishes uninstalling Internet Explorer, restart your computer.
