How Do You Delete Internet Explorer History & Cookies?
Just like anything else that piles up over time, you’ll want to clear out your Internet history and cookies every now and then. Your browsing history is a list of websites that you have recently visited, complete with page names and dates. Cookies are bits of stored information about those visits. It is not necessary to keep either of these on your computer for a long period. Deleting them helps protect your privacy, frees up space and keeps your system running smoothly. Deleting your browsing history from Internet Explorer is a simple process. Open your Internet browser. Select “Tools” from the top menu. Click “Delete Browsing History.” Make sure the “History” and “Cookies” boxes are selected.
