How Do You Delete History From Windows Media?

0

Windows Media Player, or “Windows Media” for short, is a program that can be used to enjoy a plethora of audio and video files. Just as in a Web browser, the program will keep a history of every file and link that is opened inside of it. If you share your computer with other users, you may wish to delete the history that is saved in Windows Media in order to protect your privacy. Open Windows Media Player. Click “Tools” positioned at the top of Windows Media Player. A drop-down menu will appear. Select “Options” and a window will open. Click on the “Privacy” tab that’s at the top of the window. Two buttons will become visible near the bottom of that window. Click both the “Clear Cookies” and “Clear History” buttons. Then, click the “Apply” and “OK” buttons to delete all of the history from Windows Media.
