Although the Google search uses your history to provide helpful suggestions when you type a query in the search engine, you have the option to clear your Google search box history. This is useful if you find that the suggestions provided by Google are no longer helpful, or if you would like to build a new search history for Google to use in making suggestions. You delete your Google search history by modifying your query suggestions preferences on the Google Preferences page. You must also clear your search history on your Internet browser.
