How Do You Delete Corrupt Data From A PS2 Memory Card?
Memory cards are flash data storage devices. The PlayStation 2 utilizes memory cards to save game and system data when a game is played on the console. In some instances, data files may become corrupted on the memory card, or a corrupted file might accidentally be saved from a damaged game. Damaged files can be deleted, and removing a corrupt data file shouldn’t harm your PS2. Insert the PlayStation 2 memory card that has the corrupt file into the memory card slot of your PlayStation 2 console. Turn on the PlayStation 2 without a disc in the console or with the loading lid open. A menu screen will then appear on your television. Scroll through the options of the main menu using the down button on your directional pad and press the “X” button when you get to the “Browser” option.
