How Do You Delete Autocomplete Web Addresses?
AutoComplete is a feature, offered by most Web browsers, that gets its name because it automatically completes addresses in your address bar when you begin typing letters into it that generate previous entries you’ve typed into the address bar. It is ideal for easily relocating websites that you want to revisit, but if you share a computer with other users, it could compromise your security by allowing them to see what websites you’ve accessed on the Internet. Click “Tools” and then “Internet Options.” Click the “Delete” button from beneath the “Browsing History” section of the “General” tab. Check the “Saved Forms” check box and then click “Delete.” Your AutoComplete Web addresses are deleted. Click “Tools” and then “Options.” Click the “Privacy” button. Click “Clear” beneath “History.” Click “Edit” and then “Preferences.” Click “History.” Click the “Clear Location Bar” button.
