How Do You Delete An Email Address?
Email address accounts allow you to receive electronic mail from other users who have email address accounts as well. Some of the major email address providers include Yahoo!, Hotmail and Gmail. While email address accounts are convenient, they are at times bombarded with junk mail and broken into by hackers, exposing personal information. If you no longer want your email address account for whatever reason, you can cancel it and delete your email address permanently. Log in to your Gmail account using your sign-on name and password. Click the “Settings” button on the top of the page, and open “Account and tab.” Click “Google account settings,” and click “Edit” next to “My Products.” Click “Remove Gmail permanently” and confirm to close the email address.
