How Do You Delete Addresses From An Address Bar?
Web browsers such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Safari save the addresses you type in the address bar–your browsing history. If you’re using someone else’s computer, or simply don’t want anyone to know what sites you’ve visited, delete the browsing history from the web browser. You’ll remove the addresses from the browser’s memory. Most browsers also let you delete other private data such as cookies or temporary Internet files. Open the Internet Explorer browser and click on the “Tools” menu option. Scroll down and select “Internet Options.” Click on the “Delete” button in the “Browsing History” section. Click on the “Delete History” button, then on “Close” and “OK” in the “Internet Options” window. Open the Mozilla Firefox browser and click on the “Tools” menu option.
