How Do You Delete A Yahoo Search Bar?
The Yahoo Search Bar add-on is great as long as you desire to use it. However, when it is not your preferred search method in a sea of available options, it can be the “one too many” piece of clutter on your Internet dashboard, and you can delete the unneeded tool. Open IE and then select “Tools.” Click “Internet Options” and then go to the “General” tab. Click “Settings” under the “Search” area and beside “Change Default Settings.” Click “Search Providers” under “Add-on Types” in the “Manage Add-ons” dialog box. Click “Yahoo Search” and then click “Remove.” Click “Close” to exit. Open Mozilla Firefox and click “Tools” and choose “Add-ons.” Go to the “Extensions” tab and click “Yahoo Search Bar.” Click “Uninstall.” Click the red “X” in the corner of the add-on dialog box to exit.
