How Do You Delete A Web Site Address?
Your Web browser keeps a history of all the website addresses that you’ve visited. You can delete the entire Web history directly from your Web browser, but sometimes you only want to delete one or two website addresses from your history. If that is the case, then you can do so through your computer’s Registry Editor. Click the “Start” button. In Windows XP, click “Run” and then type “regedit.exe” into the “Run” text box and press the “Enter” key. In Windows Vista or 7, type “regedit.exe” into the Search box located on the bottom of the “Start” menu and press “Enter.” The Registry Editor window pops up on your computer screen. Click “HKEY_CURRENT_USER” from the left navigation pane. Then click “Software.” Click “Microsoft.” Click “Internet Explorer.” Click “Typed URLs.” Click on the website address in the right pane that you want to delete and then press the delete key to delete it.
